Established in Karachi in 1978, The City School is today one of the largest private school networks in Pakistan with branches in all the major cities across the country. It currently has 178 schools in 57 cities with over 60,000 students and 8000 employees.
The City School continues to expand its reach to meet the demands for quality education. Our knowledge and skills-based curriculum framework shares some common aims and objectives with the UK national curriculum for England and guides students from Nursery Level to Cambridge International Examinations Level. The uniform implementation of the curriculum gives parents, students, and teachers the advantage of a smooth and efficient transfer from one school to another within the system.
The core philosophy at PAF Chapter is to develop students who are internationally recognized as leaders of tomorrow. Not only are we concerned with our students’ academic achievements, but also desire them to be well-rounded individuals, capable of leading a rich and fulfilling life and helping to create a more peaceful world. School and parents have to work hand in hand to empower students to accept responsibility. The foundation can thus be laid for building a more caring and dignified society. “It is time to return to core values, time to get back to basics, to self-discipline and respect for the law, to consideration for the others, to accepting responsibility for yourself and your family – and not shuffling it off on other people and the state.” John Major
Our O and A Level students are taking their Cambridge International Examinations 2014. I am confident that they will put in their best effort and attain success. I extend my best wishes and prayers to them.
